here is another video i have found that is trying to get people to vote, and vote for change. It takes a different approach to getting people to vote, so be sure to watch it.
I saw this video a couple of weeks ago. It's a clever approach in an attempt of getting people to vote. But I think it's pretty annoying, but that's probably because there are a bunch of annoying celebrities in it and I don't really care what they are saying.
This is the ad I was talking about the other day in class, except that it was turned around for the McCain campaign. When each celebrity appeared on the screen they flashed their "net-worth", and the end said something like this won't affect them so why do they care. I tried to find it again but I couldn't. I thought the ad was interesting, but I don't like that there are so many ads with celebrities, I think it could be more meaningful with everyday people in it.
Taryn, I think you're right about it being more meaningful with "everyday" people and not people who realistically are not impacted by economical issues and other big issues, such as celebrities who make millions of dollars.
I really like this video. I think it is a really great way to hear what the issues are in this election, if you haven't already heard. Also, I think the fact that it has a bunch of celebrities in it is a great way to get younger people interested in voting.
I really enjoyed this video! I think it is a clever spin on influence through the media by celebrities who are respected and appreciated. Even though I saw it was almost five minutes long, I felt like i could not turn it off because I was so curious as to wha twass going to be said next. Good job.
